How did my organization's impact profile get on UpMetrics?

If your organization has been pre-provisioned with an UpMetrics account, including an Impact Framework and Profile, it’s because we’ve identified you as a leader in making a difference and wanted to provide you with a platform to amplify your voice.

Please Note: This information is only applicable to organizations who were selected to have their Impact Frameworks and Profiles auto-provisioned by UpMetrics and were contacted with instructions to Claim their Profile.

At UpMetrics, we believe in the power of data to tell a story, especially when it comes to the impactful work being done by nonprofits across the country. Our platform is designed to help organizations like yours measure, learn from, and share the impact you're making in your communities. One of the ways we do this is by creating Impact Profiles.

If your organization has been pre-provisioned with an account and Impact Profile on UpMetrics, it’s because we’ve identified you as a leader in making a difference and wanted to provide you with a platform to amplify your voice.

What Is an Impact Profile?

An Impact Profile is a public-facing page within the UpMetrics platform that showcases your organization's mission, vision, values, and the impact you're creating - expressed in the format of an Impact Framework. It serves as a dynamic and interactive space where you can highlight your key initiatives, share the data you’re using to measure outcomes, and engage with stakeholders, donors, and the broader community.

Here's an example of what an Impact Profile looks like:

How Did We Create Your Impact Profile?

We generated your Impact Framework and Profile using UpMetrics’ impact framework methodology and publicly available information on your organization’s website and/or recently published Impact Reports - primarily your vision, mission, programs, and any publicly shared impact metrics.

While we hope the framework and profile accurately reflect the unique work being done by your organization, we recognize that the created framework is likely not complete, and is intended to be a helpful starting point for your organization.

Why Is Your Profile Important?

Your Impact Profile not only highlights your successes but also serves as a valuable tool for transparency and engagement. By making your data publicly available, you allow stakeholders to see the tangible outcomes of your efforts, which can lead to increased support and new opportunities for collaboration.

Can You Edit or Remove Your Profile?

Absolutely! We understand that your organization’s story is constantly evolving, and we want your Impact Profile to reflect that. If you need to update the information or prefer not to have a public profile, you can easily make changes or request to make your profile private through our platform.

Once you’ve claimed your organization’s profile, you can simply log in to your UpMetrics account, navigate to your profile settings, and follow the prompts to edit or make your profile private.

Please note that your data is not being shared by UpMetrics in any way without your permission. Our support team is also available to assist with any questions or concerns.

How Can You Maximize the Use of Your Impact Profile?

We encourage you to take full advantage of your Impact Profile by finalizing your Impact Framework and regularly updating your profile with new data, stories, and achievements. The more comprehensive and current your profile, the better it will serve as a tool for demonstrating your impact to funders, partners, and the community at large.

Because your profile can be shared as a public, view-only URL we encourage you to share it on your organization’s website, within grant applications, to support fundraising efforts, and wherever else it can be used to help you promote the incredible work you’re doing.
