There are different ways to share Dashboards across stakeholders. Sharing Dashboards allows you to keep internal and external stakeholders updated on your Organization’s operations and impact.
- Share a Dashboard within your Organization
- Share a Dashboard URL externally
- Embed selected Widgets on your website
- Download a PDF export of a Dashboard
To share a Dashboard within your Organization:
- Click on the down arrow next to the Dashboard name
- Click on “Manage”
- Click on the Dashboard you want to make available within your Organization
- Tick the “Share with your Organization” checkbox
- Click on “Save”
- Other users in your Organization will be able to view and edit the Dashboard
To share a Dashboard URL externally:
- Navigate to the Dashboard you want to share externally
- Click on the “External Sharing” icon at the top right of the Dashboard (3 connected circles)
- Click on the toggle to “Activate external sharing” if it is currently disabled
- Copy the URL and send it out to give access to your Dashboard (you can preview it by opening the link yourself first)
- Note: Any Global Filter you add to your Dashboard will be reflected in the Dashboard external users see
To embed selected Widgets on your website:
- Navigate to the Dashboard that contains the Widget you want to embed on your website
- Click on the “External Sharing” icon at the top right of the Dashboard (3 connected circles)
- Click on the toggle to “Activate external sharing” if it is currently disabled
- Click on the three dots at the top right of the Widget you want to embed on your website
- Click on “Embed”
- Select the Widget size (300 pixels is about 1 in)
- Copy the Embed Code
- Paste the embed (HTML iframe) code into your website
- When your Widget gets updated in your Dashboard, it will automatically update on your Website
To download a PDF export of a Dashboard:
- Navigate to the Dashboard you want to export as PDF
- Click on the downward facing arrow icon at the top right of the Dashboard
- Wait a few seconds for the PDF to be generated
- You will find the PDF in your downloads folder
