Search, sort, and filter stories

Use search, sort, and filter functionality to narrow a large Stories list down to what you need. Any active search or filter also applies to what gets exported.

Search for stories

  1. In the left navigation pane, click Collect > Stories.

  2. At the top of the Stories list, enter a search term in the Search stories field. Results update dynamically as you type, and are matched against the story's Title and Summary text. Clear the field to remove the search.

 

Sort stories

  1. At the top right of the Stories list, click the sorting drop-down list.

  2. Choose one of the available sorting options:

    1. Story date (Newest first, or Oldest first)

    2. Added date (Newest first, or Oldest first)

    3. Title (A to Z, or Z to A)

 

Filter stories

  1. Use the filter options to the left of the Stories list to filter stories based on a number of assigned properties or codes.

  2. Click the expand arrow next to the filter type you want to apply: Program, Sentiment, Story date, Content type, Added by, Added date, or Codes.

  3. Select or deselect options from the list. Results update dynamically, and active filters appear at the top of the list.

  4. For Story date or Added date, click a start date and an end date on the interactive calendar. To remove one date range filter, click its delete icon. To remove every filter, click Clear all at the top of the filters column.
